Taiga 3-Shelf Bookcase - 42"

Assembly took me maybe twenty minutes, and the mix of solid and engineered wood feels reassuringly heavy for a kids' shelf. We've got it crammed with picture books and it hasn't budged an inch, which is exactly what I wanted for the playroom.

The solid wood edges give it a sturdier feel than most kids’ shelves I’ve tried, and the 42-inch height is perfect for my toddler to reach her picture books without help. It holds a surprising amount of board books and still looks neat in the corner of the playroom.

Assembled this in about twenty minutes with just a screwdriver, and the toddler has already claimed the bottom shelf for her picture books. It's sturdy enough that I'm not worried about it tipping when she climbs on it, and the 42-inch height fits perfectly under the window.
