The mirrored faces are way better than I expected — my 2-year-old spends ages just watching herself and the room bend around in them. The rounded hardwood corners have survived a few enthusiastic drops already, and they line up nicely with her regular blocks.
My two-year-old is obsessed with these — the mirrored faces are actually real Mylar, not that cheap reflective film, so they stay clear even after a few drops. The rounded hardwood corners put me at ease too. Only wish is that the set had a couple more sizes to build taller towers.
They're decent blocks and my kid likes stacking them, but the mirrors smudge up fast and I'm wiping them down constantly. The hardwood frames feel solid though, and the rounded corners are a nice touch for a toddler.
