The physics angle is what sold me — my kid figured out counterweights on the ramps without any help from me. The pieces are sanded smooth and fit together snugly, no wobble. Genuinely impressed with how much thinking these blocks get out of her.

My four-year-old has been stacking these for weeks and still finds new ways to balance the ramps and levers. The pieces are cut precisely enough that towers stay up, which matters a lot when a toddler is testing gravity.

The wooden pieces have a nice solid weight to them and my kids actually started figuring out balance and ramps on their own. Only downside is the foundation set doesn't come with quite enough blocks for two kids to build at once without squabbling.
