The birch plywood has a nice smooth finish, no rough edges to worry about with kids. Each section fits a backpack and lunchbox easily, and the whole unit feels solid once assembled.
Assembled it in our classroom corner and the birch plywood finish looks even better in person, sturdy enough that the kids haven’t dented it yet. At 122cm it’s just right for them to reach their cubbies without a step stool.
The birch plywood feels really solid, and the 48-inch height works well for my students to reach their own cubbies without help. Assembly took a bit longer than I'd hoped, but the finished unit looks clean and professional in our room.
