The birch plywood has a nice smooth finish, no rough edges to worry about with kids. Each section fits a backpack and lunchbox easily, and the whole unit feels solid once assembled.
Assembled it in our classroom corner and the birch plywood finish looks even better in person, sturdy enough that the kids haven’t dented it yet. At 122cm it’s just right for them to reach their cubbies without a step stool.
